Q. What do I do first when my loved one passes away?
A. Call us immediately. We can assist you in calling the coroner, and coordinating with the hospital or hospice. We can help make the process of removal much smoother and less intimidating for you and your family.
Q. What do I need to bring to the funeral home for our initial meeting after our loved ones death?
A. At the initial arrangement conference please be sure to bring the deceased’s; Social Security #, Birth Date, Name of the Deceased’s mother and father and where they were born. Also, bring any Insurance policies they may have so we can assist in filing the claims. Also, bring clothing for the deceased (Women-dress or pants suit with underwear, slip, bra and hose) (Men- Suit or pants and shirt with underwear, undershirt, and socks). Also, bring any jewelry to be worn by the deceased, it may be left on or taken off after the service.
Q. What is your payment policy? How can I pay and when must I pay?
A. We accept personal checks, cash and all major credit cards. We will accept any verifiable insurance that is currently in force. We must be able to verify with the insurance company before funeral service. If the insurance cannot be verified, one of the payment options above must be used before the funeral service.
Q. What is a preneed and why should I do it?
A. A preneed is the process of preplanning your funeral for the purpose of saving money and to make sure your wishes are known to your family. In preplanning your funeral you can lock in the price of the funeral at today’s cost with no increase to the surviving family. You can also give all the info rmation needed to make arrangements. Pre-Planning will give you and your family the security and satisfaction knowing that all the arrangements have been planned and paid for.
