David and Velma Thompson

David is a 2nd generation Funeral Director who has spent his life in Funeral Service. David has been with Edmonds full time since 1977, but he worked his first funeral here when he was 12 years old. Velma has worked along side of David for the past 14 years. Velma keeps both the books and David straight.

Harold Wayne Hogue Jr.
Jr. as everyone calls him started working for Edmonds in February of 1986. He graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in 1988. He is married to Mary Horton Hogue and has three children, Shanda, Laura, and Trey Hogue. He enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family.

Chris Knighten
Chris started working for Edmonds in January of 1997. He graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in 1999 with an Associate of Mortuary Science degree. He is currently the Vice President of the Jonesboro-Hodge Lions Club and will soon be President. He is married to Misty Harrison Knighten and has three children, Shauna, C.J., and Garin. When he’s not working he spends most of his time coaching his kids in sports. He helped coach his daughter Shauna’s softball team to a State Championship in 2007.

Amanda Weeks
Amanda began working at Edmonds in October 2005 and has the daunting task of keeping everyone straight. She is married to Marty Weeks and has two children Marly and Carson. She enjoys the many sports activities her children play throughout the year, they keep her very busy. Her daughter Marly was also on the State Championship softball team in 2007.

Roxie Aldy
Roxie has been employed with Edmonds since February 2000. She is a lifelong resident of Jonesboro and a graduate of Weston High School . She is married to David Aldy and has one daughter and two grandchildren. She enjoys spending her spare time with her grandchildren.

Mike Aldy
Mike has been with Edmonds since 1969 and is our most senior employee. He is married to the former Linda Pepper and has one daughter, Sherry, and one grandson, John Michael, who is the apple of his eye.
